Absolutely not! Most of our Instructor-Led Classes are designed specifically for beginners. Our instructors provide step-by-step guidance in a supportive, low-pressure environment that is great for anyone. If you're looking to practice fundamentals, our Technique LAB is a great, low-commitment option.
We recommend booking at least one week in advance, especially for weekend evening classes, as they often sell out. You can view our live class calendar and book directly on our Upcoming Classes page.
For Canvas Classics, plan for a 2.5 to 3 hour class. for Snack Classics, plan for a 1 hour class.
The price covers all necessary materials, including the canvas, high-quality paints, use of studio brushes, and professional instruction. Beverages and snacks from our curated local menu are available for purchase à la carte.

Instructor-Led: A structured class where an instructor guides a group step-by-step through a specific piece of art. Great for a structured social night out.
Self-Guided: You work at your own pace using our detailed printed instructions and materials. Our expert artists are available for general help, but it's a more independent experience.
Canvas Classics and Canvas Lab paintings tend to run about 2.5 to 3 hours. Snack Classics and Technique Labs are smaller and tend to run about an hour.

Art is for everyone! We welcome people of all ages. Our instructor-led classes typically run roughly 2.5 hours for a full-sized 16x20" Canvas Classic and this can be a bit much for younger kids. For smaller artists, we love to recommend our "Snack-Sized" paintings on a 5x7" canvas, which take about an hour.

Our studio can comfortably accommodate private groups ranging from 6 to 16 guests in Studio B and from 10 to 40 guests in the Main Studio. Private events start at 3 hours and more time can be added as needed. Please let us know your approximate headcount and amount of time in your inquiry so we can recommend the best space and project for your party.
Yes! One of the biggest advantages of booking a Private Event is the ability to select your art project from our gallery. We will work with you to select a theme or painting that perfectly fits your celebration or team-building goals.

Yes, our dedication to supporting the local community is a core part of our mission. Our menu exclusively features local craft beers, wines, and artisanal snacks from partners in the area.
Due to our licensing and commitment to our local partners, we do not allow outside food or beverages (including alcohol). We offer a high-quality, curated selection for your enjoyment, including alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and a variety of snacks. Private events may be permitted to bring food (such as catering or cakes); our staff will work with you on the details.
